excepts from an essay written by Dale Hoshizaki: Posted on Saturday, August 13, 2011 12:42 AM
FLASH OF INSPIRATION "Emotion in Color" I stopped in front of a picture entitled simply "cloud". On a background of blue had been painted a fluffy cloud. It had wispy, vermiculated edges. The boarders were white and inside the cloud there was a darker mixture of grey and purple and blue. Hmm, I thought to myself, that's interesting... a picture of a cloud. I'm not really sure if it llooks like a real cloud. After all, clouds aren't really those colors and the edges look a little strange, but it is interesting that someone would paint just a cloud. |
