Terry Hill's interest in art was firmly established at a very early age. He grew up in an artistic household with his mother, brother and wife all being artists. It was this background plus undeniable artistic talent that guided Terry along his creative journey resulting in the talented artist we see today.

"Nature is full of texture" and most of the "process is intuitive." "I discover the painting while I'm doing it" says the self-taught artist. His art is textural mixed media impressionism as he works in a number of mediums. His vast ranges of technique include the incorporation of various natural materials which are layered with acrylic paints to finish his masterpieces.

Terry and his wife, Barbara, reside in the Interior of British Columbia on a small acreage. His painting can be found in private collections throughout Canada.
