Commissioning an Artist

Most artists are happy to work with a client creating a work of art to that client's specifications. Commissioned paintings usually consist of:
A commissioned painting can be of specific dimensions, color and subject matter. If you have a picture in your mind you have been unable to find, let us know and we will match you up with one of our talented artists. |
The Process

1. Choose an artist by specialty or style. Advise the gallery which artist you would like to commission. The gallery will arrange for a meeting between you and the artist to go over details of the work required and the desired time frame. 2. A contract will be drawn up by the gallery outlining out the details of the commission along with the agreed price and the deposit required. 3. Upon receipt of the deposit by the gallery, the artist will produce preliminary sketches which will be forwarded by emaail to the gallery and to the client. 4. Upon approval of the sketches, the painting will be commenced. 5. The client and gallery will be emailed photographs as the painting progresses. Changes may be made during this process, if necessary. 6. The finished painting is delivered to the gallery. 7. The client is contacted by the gallery. |
